Description
Christmas Cabin is a delightful, Christmas themed home nestled among sugar pines with a western view of the surrounding mountains. The cabin is equipped with Satellite TV/DVD & VHS, and a CD player.
The deck is a comfortable and cool place to just hang out during the summer months, while the interior is comfortable and inviting. With the screened windows open during the summer months you’ll hear the soft breezes through the pine trees along with the chirping of the chipmunks and birds.
There are two bedrooms upstairs, one with a king, and the other with two twins. There is one bedroom downstairs with a queen bed. Bathrooms are on both floors. The dinning area seats up to 8 and is open and spacious. Fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a sofa bed, and a wood burning stove fireplace. There is 3 parking spots over summer months, and 2 over winter months.
All within a 25 minute drive from Glacier Point, Wawona, and Yosemite Valley.

Very nice for our family of 5. We counted 76 decorative bears inside the cabin! If you prefer a thin pillow consider bringing your own as theirs are thick. Cozy ambience. Kingly table.

The cabin was clean and spacious. The kitchen contained all the equipment and utensils we needed. The deck was very restful. The only thing I would have liked added was a place to put recyclables beside the garbage can. We had to haul ours to the park to recycle.

I wanted to give a five stars to this Cabin, every thing is great except it was too hot and couldn’t sleep at the night that’s the only reason hold me back to 4 stars. I know there is no A/C in the NP but wasn’t expecting that hot during the night. The little fan in the room was just a joke, it can’t cool the room down. The cabin itself is nice and clean and located in the beautiful woods. I will definitely stay again if I visit Yosemite NP again, but will definitely not at those hot days.

The Christmas Cabin was incredible: 10/10 on location and proximity to the park (close, but far enough away that you didn’t run the risk of being caught up in park entrance traffic), 10/10 on scenery (cooking burgers on the back deck while watching the sunset over the mountains should really be emphasized as one of the perks of this place - I’d give it 5 stars based on that experience alone), and 10/10 on the ‘coziness’ factor.

The Christmas Cabin was a unique and cozy place to stay during our time at Yosemite! We enjoyed staying in the park and felt we had great access to all the areas of the park! The directions, instructions and entry were easy and the house was clean and well kept when we arrived. We enjoyed the grill and back deck as well as the big, family, dining table where we ate most of our meals while reflecting on our adventures that day. We agree that the house could use some updating, but we were very satisfied with the stay as is.

The cabin was spacious, very clean and comfortable. It is located about 17 miles from Yosemite Valley Visitors Center, but an easy, beautiful drive. We made sure to get to the Yosemite Valley parking areas by 8:30 am to ensure we had parking in the lot for the day. The cabin is stocked with all cookware and appliances needed to cook or grill at the cabin. The back deck is spacious and looks west so you will enjoy the sunset if back by sundown. Our google maps made it very easy to find, but wi-fi is spotty. We would definitely come back.

The cabin was a surprise for our visit to Yosemite. The location is perfect. The house is very well maintained, clean and with everything you need. All the appliances are working well. My kids loved the Christmas decorations. We had a very good time here.

This is a great location for staying close to Yosemite National Park. The drive is 30 minutes but the park being so big, this is a good location to give you some space as well as reasonable access to the National Park.

The property was amazing however there was no Air Conditioning. This was very uncomfortable given the daytime heat of 100+ and nighttime temps of 80 degrees. Luckily for us we only stayed 2 days. This is my first VRBO that didnt include A/C and Ive been renting for years. Given the large daily cost to stay here, it should have been included.

Our party consisted of two couples. We had ample space and could have had another couple. All of the basics were there. Very clean. I felt safe. Make sure you bring plenty of food with you as it is a good hour drive to a full grocery store. Park restaurants are very difficult to get into as for now they are only taking reservations/seating hotel guests. We finally went to the Wawona at 4:45 and got in line for dinner. They were able to seat us after all the registered guests were seated. I was grateful as there werent many options within driving distance.

The location inside the park is great, and the house is spacious. However, we were there during a heat wave, and without AC or ceiling fans in the bedrooms, it was VERY uncomfortable to sleep. The ceiling fan in the 2 story family room is undersized for the area. We were carrying the 3 portable fans from room to room.
The deck was in great shape, we used the grill several times. The place just needs more ceiling fans if there isn’t AC.

We loved our stay at the Christmas Cabin! The cabin was well-stocked with everything we needed during our visit to Yosemite. The temperatures were hot outside, but the fans provided for each room cooled the cabin down sufficiently. Yosemite West is a great location to stay when visiting the park. Scenic Wonders was fantastic to work with. We would absolutely recommend them, and the Christmas Cabin, to anyone visiting Yosemite.

It is both nice and difficult to not have WiFi or cell service in the house, but that is the only “complaint” - which it really isn’t

The Christmas Cabin was perfect for our family trip! We felt very confident preparing for our trip thanks to the reservation confirmation emails and FAQs - very comprehensive and helpful. The house was clean, stocked with everything we needed, and the Scenic Wonders staff was so helpful whenever we called them with questions! I appreciated that there was a welcome call the morning of our reservation, but we were already on our way into Yosemite with no cell service so did not receive the message until after the trip, haha. Perhaps you could do the welcome call the day before the reservation begins? Otherwise, great cabin, great stay, thank you!

We've thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Yosemite West. Christmas Cabin was the perfect lodge for us in amazing Yosemite. We could feel the love and energy that's been put into this amazing cabin. Beautifully furnished, cozy, warm and comfortable, spotlessly clean and in quiet surroundings. Christmas Cabin has definitely added value and experience to our 5-night stay in Yosemite NP. Overall excellent.
The signage at the entrance road needs to be updated... we were coming from the south gate and turned left at the first turn after the sign indicating Yosemite West. It turned out to be a construction site. Second left is also a construction site. *Third* left was the real deal.
The Wi-Fi was rather weak at our cabin but I found it workable.
Water pressure was a bit low.
Again, overall very nice. Glad we stayed here!
