Yosemite Sledding and Tubing

Yosemite National Park is an ideal place to take your children to experience the joy of a winter wonderland. Badger Pass Ski Area for Sledding Another great place to enjoy Yosemite sledding and tubing is in the Badger Pass Ski Area. At Badger Pass there is a designated sledding and tubing area that kids of all ages are free to enjoy. The Yosemite tubing area in Badger Pass is designed for younger kids, but adults are also welcome to partake in the fun. Inner tubes can be rented from the lodge for about $15 per tube. Once you've had your fill of Yosemite tubing and sledding, kids can enjoy a number of other activities during winter in Yosemite. Curry Village offers ice skating, a perfect activity for the entire family to enjoy. Rent a pair of skates and spend an hour in the rink, then lounge by a cozy fire with a nice big cup of hot chocolate. From Tenaya Lodge, families can also embark on horse-drawn sleigh rides through the surrounding forest area. Sleigh rides cost about $20 for adults and $15 for children. It's recommended that you make a reservation in advance to ensure the time slot of your choice.
