We are given joy. It is that simple. The reason for our joy is this beautiful place in Yosemite that steals our heart. We ask our heart to remain joyful!

Shadow and shape mix together just before noon on this Sunday in November. We lift our eyes to the happy clouds in the sky above Half Dome. We don't often get much time for reflection; today, we give serious consideration to the idea of time.

We enjoy walking across the sand. We reflect on the glass bulbs of an hourglass and on… the sands of time. The allotted time we are given to enjoy this Half Dome beach is a wonderful gift of time. Although time is racing by, our heart is calm. Our days in Yosemite pass too swiftly. This day will come and go and be swept away like a dream.

The sandy shore by the river is quite welcoming. The great mountain of rock, Half Dome, rises above the flowing river and beautiful sandy beach. The lofty pink clouds rise above Half Dome; the clouds are flowing with jubilant joy. To be in Yosemite is our happiness.
