Dear Friends
I greet you from Yosemite

Father set my feet upon a rock after I had waited for him to stoop down and help me.

He made my footholds firm. He put a happy song into my heart. Happy the son who has placed his trust in his dad. How many are the wonders that you have to show me!

You will always guard me because you love me. My dad thinks of me and my happiness.

Today there is gladness in the mountains and in our hearts! These things I will remember all of my life…..the rock climbing and my dad’s loving kindness.

Father, you are my help, and in the shadow of your wings I shout for joy.

I cling fast to you: your right hand upholds me. You teach me to cling to the rock.

Focusing my attention on the rock’s crack before me, I want to be like my dad in all things. Do the things you have learned, and you will be blessed.

Give us, Father, the grace to grasp You as we grasp the rock.
