Fantastic Location Inside the Park! Situated high among the pine trees, Bird's-eye Vista is a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the quiet beauty of nature. It's not unusual to catch a glimpse of wildlife such as deer, coyote, chipmunks and birds. Now with AC for the upstairs 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen. This is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom cabin that may accommodate up to 8 guests. First bedroom has a king size bed, second bedroom has a queen size bed, third bedroom has a king size bed, plus a sofa bed & futon. There are 2 parking spots during summer months and only 1 parking spot during winter months, please contact us for parking details.
Fantastic Location Inside the Park! Situated high among the pine trees, Bird's-eye Vista is a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the quiet beauty of nature. It's not unusual to catch a glimpse of wildlife such as deer, coyote, chipmunks and birds. You will enjoy a bird's-eye view of pine forests and the Merced River Canyon. Now with air-conditioning for the upstairs 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen. The downstairs bedroom and den do not have air-conditioning. Relax on the spacious deck, patio and bedroom balconies and enjoy glorious sunsets. Enjoy views from every room, in the cozy living area near the gas fireplace and even from the king-sized bathtub and the enclosed glass shower in the master bathroom. Located just minutes away from most visited sights in the Park! The driveway is on a slope with a narrow parking spot at the top. There's room for at least one more car on the driveway. Cement steps, about 12, lead up to the house and there are stairs inside.. so be prepared for a bit of exercise on arrival. If you don't mind the extra steps, we believe you will find Bird's-eye Vista as peaceful and delightful as we do! Welcome to our new mountain home!

A nature lover's dream, the cabin is filled with sun light and lovely views from every room, deck and balcony. Spot birds and chattering chipmunks from the decks and if you are lucky, be awed by some of Yosemite's other wild animals. Be inspired by the mountains, forest and glorious sunsets in front of you! Fun for couples and families!
Large windows and French doors await you for admiring the views. The house is cozy and well equipped with quality bedding, games for children and adults, CD's and DVD's for your enjoyment. Whether it's snowshoeing and sledding right outside your door or stargazing and grilling on the deck, your stay will be a trip to remember.
The parking spaces are at the very top in the narrow area by the cement steps. There's room for 2 cars to park in this narrow lane. For unloading passengers and bags, feel free to park midway so you have more room. After unloading you can then move your vehicle up into the parking area. Its somewhat steep and the elevation is 6,000 feet so be aware you may feel out of breath. We find that sort of bucket-brigade approach to unloading makes it easier... one or two brings supplies to the house and others brings them upstairs to the living areas. Take your time, and enjoy the birds eye view!
When exciting, back up carefully until you can proceed forward down the other side of the horseshoe - its is steep so go slowly and be aware of the dip at the bottom.
While Bird's-eye Vista is situated on a mountain slope to take advantage of the expansive forest views and the Merced valley, a bit of patience and neighborly cooperation is so appreciated. We welcome you to our home, and we sincerely hope you enjoy a grand Yosemite adventure!

Birds Eye Vista was beautiful! We enjoyed both epic sunsets and the moon glowing in the morning hours. It was well appointed with everything we needed in the kitchen except for olive oil. ??

We loved the location and the cleanliness of the place. We could tell the home is well-cared for…there were so many sweet details…from the guest book to the dvd’s, playing cards, etc…We are already looking into available dates for a future visit. Such a wonderful experience overall….not to mention the fantastic convenience of being so close to the main sites we wanted to see while visiting Yosemite National Park.

We enjoyed our stay at Bird’s Eye Vista! The driveway is steep & narrow, & we had a Yukon but it worked. The location is PERFECT & we loved the views… incredibly beautiful sunsets! We were 3 couples & appreciated each having our own bathroom. Cooked 3 morning & evening meals & kitchen had everything we needed. We had a wonderful stay & would highly recommend this property!

BEV is a great place to stay. Roomy, serene, quite. What a view. We also ate dinner every night in the house and it was perfect for this. So convenient to all parts of the park.

The Birds Eye View cabin was the PERFECT spot to retreat to after the mega hikes we experienced every day. It was a very comfortable and spacious place with all the kitchen amenities to feel at home. My family and I enjoyed our stay and would do it again. We were lucky to miss the smoke tht was rolling in as we left Saturday and had no issues during our visit. The home is very nice, we basically had breakfast each morning and headed out for a full day of hiking each day, returning to clean up and relax in the evenings. We liked the kitchen and its amenities, and used the grill each evening and the TV to watch climbing documentaries. Great sunsets and beautiful settings.It was nice to have a bathroom for each bedroom also..... No complaints here.

Birds Eye View was absolutely lovely. Truly the pictures do not do it justice (would recommend updated ones to show how much space the house has). Really loved how well stocked the kitchen was with utensils. We do wish that there were enough seats for 8 as the house technically sleeps that many. Also, there is definitely room for three cars without blocking the neighbors driveway!

Our stay was superb. Will definitely stay again. Thanks for keeping everything super clean and presentable. We slept so good. Location is perfect and the neighbor EV charger was a plus although not part of the property but the neighbor was kind enough to let us charge our Tesla. Everything was working and surpassed our expectations.

Loved the house and location. Only two recommendations. 1) For the upstairs front bedroom I would recommend a curtain on the bathroom window. 2) Being that it was summer, even with the windows open it didn’t cool off enough. Such a nice house with a light fixture over the bed in each room, why not install ceiling fans.

The house and location are beautiful. The kitchen is well equipped and the the interior is very spacious and furnished in taste and high quality. The only major thing that was unsatisfying was the lack of air-conditioning, and the ability to cool down the 2nd floor. It got heated pretty much and there was not enough insulation or a vent to take out the heat.

The house is so clean and beautiful. It is on high ground with a nice and open view toward the evergreen mountain covered in snow. We are so glad to spend Christmas in such a warm and joyful house. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking a wonderful meal. Check-in instructions are clear.

The house we rented is in a great location, it's very spacious, and has a great array of kitchen utensils and equipment. A suggestion: maybe include a thermometer somewhere so we might see what the temperature is outside. Also, the other guest who shared the house with me really missed having wifi. We did make use of the office down the street but it would have been much more convenient if there was one in the house. I would very happily stay at this cabin again.

We really enjoyed the property, it was a nice bonus to have a high chair and books/games for the kids. Only improvements would be AC, as it was hot during our stay and closing up the house during the day made it very hot to come home to. As well as a better driveway, parking was rather dicey.

We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the house. My only comment is that the dishwasher did not clean the dishes so we hand washed everything. Not a big deal but that was not the best. Otherwise it was basically perfect. We’ll be back!
